2008

A quick look back over the years musical mayhem.

2006 ended with the annual new years eve bash at DITTON, and after a fairly low key first half set, the boys finally got their act together in the second half with the rock and roll and singalongs, with all and sundry up and dancing.

2007 has seen the band mainly doing private functions and also finishing off their debut CD entitled " BREAKING ON THROUGH ", copies of which are available to buy. Contact Steve for more information.

APRIL 07 saw the band performing at Suttons BOOM BOOM CLUB, a venue which the band are hoping to play again in 2008!!

AUGUST 07 was a busy month for the boys, performing at our very own drummers wedding reception in REIGATE, a gig in DOWNSVIEW PRISON in front of 200 female inmates and finally rounding off the month nicely at the NEW INN PUB in DITTON, with a loud set in a space only slightly bigger than my dining room.

So now we roll on to the end of 2007 and end up in exactly the same location as we were at the end of 2006... DITTON for new years eve. To sum up, SHAKY GROUND are without doubt a very good band but with all members in full time employment and involved in other things as well, it remains to be seen how and if the band will progress in 2008.

One things for sure though-- if things dont change THEY'LL STAY EXACTLY AS THEY ARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
